1. What is Sharedrobe?

1.1 Who we are

We are Sharedrobe ME (“Sharedrobe”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in Trade Center 1, Dubai, UAE.

1.2 What we do

Sharedrobe operates a peer-to-peer fashion marketplace (“Marketplace”) that enables users to sell, rent, and swap fashion items through our mobile application (“App”) and website www.sharedrobe.me (“Website”). These together form the Services we provide.

  • 1.2.1 The terms “Sharing” and “Renting” are interchangeable, as are “Share” and “Lend”.
  • 1.2.1 Swapping is considered a trade, regardless of differences in selling price.

1.3 Our Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Sharedrobe’s Services, whether you are a Lender (Owner) listing items or a Renter (Buyer) using the Marketplace. Our Terms include:

1.4 Acceptance of Terms

By using our Services, you agree to comply fully with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App, Website, and Services.

1.5 Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will notify users via email, App notifications, or our Website. Continued use of our Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you disagree, you must close your account.

1.6 Who May Use Sharedrobe?

  • At least 18 years old and based in the United Arab Emirates.
  • If under 18, you must have parent/guardian consent to use the Services.

1.7 Sharedrobe’s Role in Transactions

  • Sharedrobe facilitates transactions but does not own, inspect, or guarantee the quality, authenticity, or usability of items unless extra authentication is requested (see Section 9.1).
  • Pricing and item quality are set by Lenders (Owners).
  • Contracts are between users, not Sharedrobe.
  • Sharedrobe only acts as a payment collection agent for transactions.

2. Creating and Managing Your Account

2.1 Account Registration

To buy, sell, lend, or rent, users must create an account and provide:

  • Full Name
  • Contact Details
  • Billing Information

We may request additional verification for security and trust purposes.

2.2 Password Security

  • Keep your password secure.
  • Update your credentials regularly.
  • Report unauthorized access immediately.

2.3 Account Deactivation

You may deactivate your account by emailing help@sharedrobe.me with “Account Deactivation” in the subject line.

3. Use of Services & Content Ownership

3.1 Ownership of Sharedrobe Content

All materials, content, and features on Sharedrobe (excluding user-generated content) belong to Sharedrobe or its licensors.

3.2 Permitted Use

  • Users may not copy, modify, or distribute Sharedrobe’s content.
  • Sell or sublicense Sharedrobe’s technology.
  • Scrape or extract data from the platform.

3.3 User-Generated Content

Users retain ownership of their content but grant Sharedrobe a worldwide, royalty-free license to display and promote it.

4. Listing & Renting Items

4.1 Listing an Item

  • Provide accurate descriptions and clear photos, including any defects.
  • Ensure that items are clean and fit for use.

4.2 Rental Terms & Pricing

  • Lenders set rental prices and may offer:
  • Daily or weekly rental rates.
  • Options to sell items instead of renting.
  • A partial refund for items that do not fit, provided the Renter pays logistics costs (see Section 5.3).

4.3 Renter’s Responsibilities

  • Handle items with care.
  • Return items on time and in the same condition.
  • Report any damage immediately.

4.4 Damage or Late Returns

  • Cleaning/repair costs for damage beyond normal wear.
  • Late fees for overdue returns.
  • Full item value if lost or unrecoverable.

5. Fees & Payments

5.1 Commission & Fees

Sharedrobe charges:

  • 15% commission on both rental and sales transactions.

5.2 Payment Processing via Mamopay

  • All payments are securely processed through Mamopay.
  • Sharedrobe is not responsible for payment delays caused by banks or payment providers.

5.3 Refund Policy

Renters and buyers may receive a full refund if:

  • The item is not as described.
  • The item arrives late or is not delivered.

Renters may receive a partial refund if:

  • The item does not fit; they will be charged for shipping cost.
  • The item does not match their taste; they will be charged for shipping cost.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • All shipments are managed via Shippa Logistics.
  • Shippa Logistics is responsible for lost or damaged shipments.
  • Items must be returned using Shippa Logistics, and proof of shipment is required.

7. Disputes & Resolution

  • Users should first attempt to resolve disputes directly.
  • If unresolved, Sharedrobe may assist, but decisions are not legally binding.
  • Users must not post disputes publicly (e.g., social media).

8. Account Suspension & Termination

  • Sharedrobe may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Accounts may also be terminated for fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.

Users must settle any outstanding payments before account closure.

9. Legal Liability & Limitations

9.1 Item Quality & Authenticity

  • Sharedrobe is not responsible for the quality, authenticity, or usability of listed items, unless the extra authentication service has been requested.
  • If the authentication service is requested, Sharedrobe will verify the item’s authenticity.
  • The authentication service is non-refundable.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

  • Sharedrobe is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • We are not responsible for user disputes, transactions, or pricing decisions.
